Practice Rink
For everyday use, the practice rink has seating and standing room for 60+/- people. The practice rink is a high-end rink, the only difference between it and the stadium rink is the capacity to seat spectators. The primary uses for the practice rink are:

• Beverly Youth and North Shore Raiders Hockey Program's games and practices
• Specialized hockey and figure skating clinics throughout the year
• Public Skating
• Group and Corporate Outings
• Figure Skating
• Men and Women's Hockey Leagues
• Summer and Holiday Hockey Camps

Small Rink "The Puddle"
There is a new industry developing around small rinks; USA hockey has been promoting the small rink/half sheet concept as a better way for youngsters to learn the game. The small rink will accommodate activities such as:

• Birthday Parties
• Hockey and Figure Skating Private and Group Lessons
• In House and Learn to Skate Programs
• Specialized High-End Training and Clinics
• Summer Street Hockey Leagues
• Mens 2v2 Leagues
• Summer/Holiday Hockey Camps

The indoor field's walls are durable metal face sheeting that balls do not damage, alleviating the need for boards. Without the constraints of boards, the space can be utilized with unlimited configurations for any sport and an assortment of non-sport activities. The field space differentiates the Sportsplex from other ice rinks providing the specialty tools needed to train and grow athletes. Although the options for the field space are unlimited, the initial core programs will focus around: Lacrosse and Soccer Leagues

• Men's, Women's and Youth
• Specialized Sports Clinics
• Group and Personal Training
• Toddler morning programs and playgroups
• Learn to Play - multiple sports
• Preseason Tryouts and Practices (the spring sports need indoor preseason space)
• Tradeshows/Conventions
• Private Parties and Birthday Parties

Training Center /Health Club
The training/health club area located on the second floor overlooks the field and ice surfaces. The combination of a pure training center and health club mix empowers ISG to offer low cost, high quality training solutions. This area will operate similar to a health club with locker rooms and showers but not carry the unnecessary amenities or high costs. The Sportsplex's training area addresses the needs of both the high-level athlete and the person who wants to get a good workout. The Training Center offers the elite athlete's specialized programs during the afternoon and early evening. The elite area of the training center employs specialized training machines such as a skating treadmill, over speed treadmills and band area.

The Lobby   Print out Facility information
The rink's lobby is the focal point of the facility offering amenities and a comfortable warm area for spectators to watch the four arenas (Stadium, Practice, Small and Field Space). The lobby floor is two feet higher than the playing surfaces allowing the line of sight to be directly on the playing surface and not on the boards. Our design goal was to make anyone who had to spend the many hours at the Sportsplex as comfortable and convenient as possible.

The Warm Viewing Area
Located on the second floor overlooking the Stadium Rink is the warm viewing area providing more seating and standing room for large events. During normal hours, people who want a quite place to eat or work while their kids are playing can sit at the tables or on the sofas with access to wireless internet. The warm room is a quite room during business hours so that people who need to work will have the ability to do so without interruption.

The Deli /Concession Counter
ISG did numerous surveys, researching the food service component of a Sportsplex, and found that there is a need for superior food. Unfortunately, most rinks have reduced their food offerings to fast easy junk foods that are quickly heated. Anyone that has had children playing sports knows how difficult it is to get a decent meal on the run. ISG choose to upgrade from the normal fare and put an upscale deli/concessions counter in the lobby.
The deli will serve the traditional candy bars and Ices but also incorporates a full menu of healthy real foods. This is not a health food deli, but the offerings of a variety of food such as soups, salads, wraps, sandwiches and of course pizza.

The Arcade
ISG plans include a traditional arcade with games and movement-oriented games such as "Dance Dance Revolution".

Pro Shop
The pro shop in the lobby will cater to all the sports in the Sportsplex, there will be a good sampling of the day-to-day needs of the users. The pro shop will not carry every lacrosse stick or hockey skate but will have the missing glove or soccer cleat left at home and the stick that just broke between periods.

Offices
The offices on the second floor rent to related industries that can cultivate business in conjunction with the different programs offered at the Sportsplex. The importance of the office rentals is their ability to generate revenue but also to add services to the Sportsplex, creating additional revenue and foot traffic. ISG will be selective as to the tenants we rent space to, looking for only the top professionals in their fields thus enhancing the image of the Sportsplex. ISG is in discussions with Personal Trainers/Nutritionists, Physical/Massage Therapist and Gym Equipment Sales businesses that are interested in space.
